The Spotter supports the electrical team on a new construction data center project by monitoring for potential fire hazards, maintaining a safe and clean work area, and assisting with basic electrical-related tasks as needed. This role plays a key part in promoting a safe jobsite and helping the team work efficiently and safely.Responsibilities
Monitor the work area continuously to identify and report potential fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
Assist the electrical team by checking for fire risks during and after electrical work activities.
Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and free of debris to reduce hazards and improve safety.
Support safe execution of electrical tasks by helping maintain clear access around equipment, tools, and materials.
Communicate promptly with electricians and supervisors about any safety concerns or incidents.
Assist with basic on-site tasks related to electrical work, such as helping stage materials or tools, under direction.
Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and instructions, including use of required personal protective equipment.
Participate in safety discussions or briefings to stay informed about current site activities and risks.Essential Skills
Ability to remain alert and focused while monitoring work areas for fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
Strong awareness of safety practices in a construction environment.
Basic understanding of electrical work environments and associated risks.
Ability to keep workspaces clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Clear and timely communication skills to report hazards and coordinate with the electrical team.
Reliability and punctuality to support ongoing construction activities.
Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to established safety procedures.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with calibration and instrumentation calibration.
Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting tasks.
Exposure to construction environments, particularly electrical construction.
Experience with wiring, pulling wire, and assisting with conduit-related tasks.
Basic knowledge of bending and running conduit, including pipe bending, under supervision.

This position is based on a new construction data center site, working in a fast-paced, industrial setting with active electrical and construction activities. You work primarily on-site around electrical installations, wiring, conduit, and instrumentation, often near heavy equipment and tools. The schedule typically follows standard construction hours, with potential for extended or varying shifts depending on project needs. The environment requires consistent adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, work boots, and other site-specific gear. Conditions may include noise, dust, and changing weather when working in partially enclosed or open areas, and you collaborate closely with electricians, technicians, and other construction personnel throughout the project.Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
