Position Overview
We are seeking a Blend/Press/Sinter Coordinator to join our Operations team at our Coldwater, Michigan facility.
This role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities across the Blending, Press, and Sinter departments to ensure production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. The Blend/Press/Sinter Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations while supporting employees, resolving production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily production activities across the Blend, Press, and Sinter operations to meet production schedules and customer demand
Monitor workflow, staffing, and production priorities to maximize throughput and minimize downtime
Partner with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve production issues and improve operational efficiency
Ensure products meet quality standards by supporting process controls and responding to production concerns
Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing company policies, procedures, and safety expectations
Train, mentor, and support production employees while fostering teamwork and accountability
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate production records and communicate shift performance, priorities, and issues to leadership What Success Looks Like

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical education preferred
Previous leadership or coordinator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience supporting blending, pressing, sintering, powder metallurgy, or other industrial manufacturing processes is a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize multiple production demands in a fast-paced environment
Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems preferred
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is a plus
