Data Governance Collibra Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Collibra Developer to lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage capabilities. This role is critical in enabling data transparency, governance, compliance, and trust across modern cloud and on-premise data ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Collibra, metadata management, data governance frameworks, and cloud-based data architectures including AWS and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise data catalog and lineage solutions using Collibra

Develop and maintain metadata management standards and governance frameworks

Enable end-to-end data lineage visibility across cloud and on-premise platforms

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure enterprise data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant

Drive adoption of data governance best practices across teams

Identify, classify, and manage PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and sensitive data

Integrate metadata and lineage capabilities into AWS-based data platforms and Snowflake environments

Support initiatives related to data quality, stewardship, and regulatory reporting

Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams on data governance and lineage practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Collibra (Data Catalog & Lineage modules)

Solid understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices

Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and related technologies

Expertise in Snowflake and relational database systems

Proven experience implementing metadata management and data lineage solutions

Strong understanding of PII handling and data privacy requirements

Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques

Experience working within large enterprise or cross-functional environments

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting large-scale data governance transformation initiatives

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to data privacy

Certifications in Collibra, AWS, or Data Governance are a plus
