Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description\n Position Summary\n We are seeking a 2ND Shift Maintenance Supervisor for the afternoon shift to lead a union workforce, act as a first responder to technical breakdowns, and ensure safety/food quality standards.\n Shift: 2nd.

Must have weekend and holiday availability.\n Key Responsibilities\n\n Team Leadership: Supervise and assign crew members in a union environment; fill in for the Maintenance Manager when needed.\n Rapid Troubleshooting: Act as first responder to equipment/system breakdowns to maximize production uptime.\n Operations & Compliance: Execute daily shift plans (preventative maintenance, work orders) while promoting strict safety, GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards.\n Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate seamless shift handoffs and collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D.\n\n Requirements\n\n Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.\n Industry Knowledge: Background in food/dairy processing (Mixing, Blending, Retort, packaging, and sanitation).\n Technical Skill: Experience with high-volume, highly automated machinery.\n Education: Bachelor’s degree OR 1–2 years of equivalent technical experience/training.\n\n Pay: $90,000-$110,000 a year
