Position: PRN Maintenance Assistant

Location: The Greens at Weaverville

The Greens at Weaverville is seeking a dedicated PRN Maintenance Assistant to support our team and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility for our residents and staff.

Essential Job Functions

Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building remains in good repair.

Repair or replace defective equipment parts using appropriate hand and power tools.

Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing systems, machinery, and equipment.

Complete routine physical tasks such as posting notices, pulling weeds, picking up litter, raking leaves, replacing light bulbs, moving furniture, and general grounds upkeep.

Clean and organize work areas at the end of each job, including removing tools, sweeping debris, wiping spills, and performing necessary touch-ups.

Set up rooms or common areas for meetings, events, or scheduled activities.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Accept delegated authority, responsibility, and accountability associated with assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

Routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and general building systems.

Painting and minor surface repair.

Servicing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems.

General maintenance and facility upkeep.
