Interventional Radiology Technologist
The position requires an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates with cardiac catheterization experience will be preferred. The role involves assisting with various interventional procedures. Call is required 1-2 nights per week and on every 4th weekend. Familiarity with the following skills is advantageous: - ASD closures - Cardiac ablation - Cardiac implant closure device - Cardiac mapping - Cardioversion - Carotid stenting - Endovascular interventions - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Pacemaker insertion - Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field Candidates must be capable of working with advanced imaging equipment. The work environment involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. Individuals with relevant experience in a similar setting will excel in this role.
