Automated Testing Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking an Automated Testing Analyst to design, build, and maintain automated test suites that ensure the quality and reliability of applications and platforms. This role requires hands-on expertise with Playwright and a strong foundation in automation testing best practices across the full test lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
Build and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for web applications
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; collaborate with development teams on fixes
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across releases
Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics and coverage
Continuously evaluate and improve test automation frameworks and processes
Collaborate with QA, developers, and business analysts to ensure requirements are testable and well-covered
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Playwright (required)
Proven experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
Strong understanding of test automation strategy, scripting, and framework design
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Solid understanding of QA methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, end-to-end testing)
Working knowledge of a scripting language commonly used with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
Background in regulated, certification, or compliance-driven industries
Work Environment
