Provide both the mechanical and electrical expertisetowards the processing, packaging and automatic warehousing operations as required, in an effort tobe consistently improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Maintenance SupervisorResponsibilities:
Organize and manage maintenance staffsupportingshift production inaseven-dayoperation
Crossover with both previousMaintenance Shift Managerand ProductionSupervisors for shiftdirection;
Communicate with Production Supervisors to ensure that all equipment and facility emergency problems areaddressed;
Audit and train maintenanceemployees to procedures and best practice methodologies, as required.
Align team to prepare all set-up parts in conjunction with scheduleneeds;
Work with the Production Staff to insureall set-ups are correct, to include running water jars through the system forconfirmation;
Conduct and lead LOTO, Confined Space and Hot Work Permit training andefforts;
Communicate all equipment cleaning efforts with the SanitationTeams;
Point person on all emergency repairs and new requestitems;
Assistin the implementation of preventive maintenanceactivities;
Address all site alarms toinsureboth optimalequipment performance andcontinued personnelsafety;
Participateand lead all maintenance shift activities involving the testing required during product developmentphases;
Communicate daily with Maintenance Scheduler to align workforce with preventive and routine maintenanceworkload;
Comply withsite mechanical and electrical standards to improve production OEE and utilityreliability;
Utilize CMMS to optimizeasset utilizationthrough scheduled preventive maintenance throughout asset usefullife;
Assistin theutility cost reductionefforts;
Collaborate with Project Engineering to assistwith thedesign and installationefforts;
Remaincurrent with latest technology related tothe manufacture ofproducts;
Remain current with latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relativetomechanical and electrical systems design andoperation;
Propose and implement improvement plans to enrich the Shift Maintenance Teams awareness around safety, qualityand appliedtechnology;
Coach, mentorand develop staff, including preparing and conducting employee performanceappraisal;
Maintain employee work schedules including timecard approval, work assignments, job rotation, training, vacationsand paid timeoff;
Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations
Reportfood safety & qualityproblems to personnel with authority to initiateaction.
Maintenance SupervisorRequirements:
AAS or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering;
2 to 5 years experience leading a Maintenance Team supporting a 24/7 continuous manufacturingoperation;
5 years experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical industry and/or high speed packaged consumergoods manufacturingenvironment;

Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management System software along with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Project;
Passion for continuous improvement, self-motivatedand the abilityto motivateand influenceothers;
Lean manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigmaexperience;
Certified Plant MaintenanceProfessional;
Lean Six Sigma Certification.
Able to work in bothPlant (production floor) and Officeenvironments;
Prior experiencehandlingand work around various moving equipment andchemicals;
