Radiologic Technologist (Safety)
The Radiologic Technologist (Safety) will be directed by the Chief of Primary Care or their designee in the Central Medical Services Department at the Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero (ASH). The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
Performs radiographic exams, processes and manages x-ray image data.
Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing x-ray examination, including observation of the patient's reactions during their examination.
Applies and demonstrates knowledge of correct methods in Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions (TSI). Assist in the maintenance of a safe and secure environment through response to physical assaults, escape attempts or other major patient disturbance, and assist in the management of the conduct of patients.
Overseeing the safety of patient escorts and other coworkers.
Maintains records and prepares reports as requested by supervisor.
