About this Role: The MC II supervisor will manage the Hospital Section in the VBP Branch, which is responsible for running DHCS' hospital-oriented programs that push improvement on measures of quality, access, health equity, and patient experience. This includes currently available programs such as the Quality Incentive Pool (QIP) for Designated Public Hospitals (DPHs) and District and Municipal Public Hospitals (DMPHs). The position will work with a wide range of internal DHCS stakeholders, other state agencies, and external stakeholders.

This position is subject to the Department's Conflict of Interest Code and filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) when assuming office, annually while in office, and upon leaving office.

This is a statewide recruitment, and the position may be located in the following locations: Sacramento, San Francisco, Richmond, Fresno, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Rancho Cucamonga, Burbank or San Diego.
