The Finance Executive will provide strategic financial leadership, analysis, and management to support the CEO and other members of the Leadership Team. This role will involve implementing the company's financial strategy, overseeing budgets, forecasts, and cost control, and ensuring the company remains financially sustainable.The Finance Executive is empowered to make decisions regarding capital expenditures, investments, cash flow, and working capital. They will also recommend policy updates.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy Formulation and Execution:
Provide strategic financial guidance aligned with business objectives.
Participate in setting long-term and short-term strategic goals.
Monitor performance against strategies and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present timely financial and management reports, including KPIs and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards.
Financial Controls:
Implement and maintain high financial control standards.
Oversee the effectiveness of IT hardware and software to meet business needs.
Budget Development and Control:
Consolidate budgets, control expenditure, and update monthly profit forecasts.
Monitor and adjust budgets, cash flows, and capital expenditures.
Financial Management:
Ensure financial liquidity and manage cash flow to meet obligations.
Oversee procurement, inventory functions, and credit management.
Maintain accurate books of accounts.
Performance Management & Staff Development:
Set and monitor performance objectives for subordinates.
Provide training, mentorship, and support employee growth.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA)
Additional Qualifications (Preferred): MBA
Skills Experience:
5 years' experience in a similar role in FMCG.
Financial legislation and industrial laws
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ISO Systems
Initiative and teamwork capability
Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
Performance and productivity management
Ability to work under pressure and outside normal working hours
