Academic Program Services Consultant

Under the direction of the AEDE Chair, this position is responsible for the following:

Recruitment Strategy & Enrollment Management: Leads the design and execution of a comprehensive undergraduate recruitment strategy for AEDE, developing data-informed models, outreach frameworks, and engagement approaches that drive enrollment outcomes and may serve as replicable practices across the college. Develops and applies recruitment performance metrics and dashboards to evaluate effectiveness, inform decision-making, forecast enrollment trends, and guide long-term strategy. Establishes priorities, allocates effort across recruitment channels. Develops and implements scalable recruitment frameworks and engagement strategies, including event models and outreach approaches that optimize yield and may inform broader college recruiting practices. Provides strategic direction to communications and outreach functions, shaping messaging, branding, and content strategy across platforms (web, video, print) to align with enrollment goals and institutional positioning.

Advising Framework Design & Student Success Strategy: Designs and continuously refines the undergraduate advising framework for AEDE, establishing standards, tools, and processes that guide advising delivery, improve student outcomes, and ensure alignment with program and college priorities.

Evaluates advising effectiveness using student success and retention data and implements improvements that may inform broader advising practices across units; advises some students Provides direction and oversight to advising staff, ensuring consistent application of advising frameworks and continuous improvement of advising practice.

Program Operations & Staff Leadership: Develops and implements staffing approaches, training frameworks, and operational standards for undergraduate program personnel, ensuring alignment with strategic recruitment and advising objectives; provides ongoing coaching and performance direction.

Undergraduate Program Strategy & Governance: Serves as a key advisor and strategic partner to the Director of Undergraduate Studies and Academic Affairs Committee, contributing to the development of undergraduate policies, procedures, and program direction; provides data-driven recommendations that influence curricular updates, academic planning, and student success strategies Leads or contributes to the development of program-level policies, processes, and assessment approaches that support long-term program effectiveness and may serve as models for similar programs. This role independently develops and implements integrated recruitment, advising, and program management frameworks, using data and strategic analysis to drive decisions that shape undergraduate program direction and may influence practices beyond the department.

Minimum Required Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.

Required Experience- Years of relevant experience required: 6 years; Preferred minimum years of relevant experience: 8-12 years
