Job Title

The incumbent provides management, leadership, direction, and supervision to program and analytical staff responsible for performing analytical, administrative and asset oversight functions within the Community Development Division (CDD). The incumbent oversees complex, sensitive and time-critical assignments related to housing projects, asset management activities and other community-based services and supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who receive regional center services. The incumbent directs program and asset management implementation, evaluates program and asset performances and effectiveness, and assesses staffing needs and associated costs through data analysis and research. The role includes developing recommendations for statewide program and asset management improvements, ensuring compliance with Department policies and objectives, and collaborating with regional centers, state and local agencies, housing developer organizations, stakeholders, and community organizations to support and advance program goals. This includes development of housing resources through housing developer organizations, the HUD Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities Program, the Statewide Specialized Resource Service (SSRS), and statewide asset management functions. The incumbent will direct and oversee the oversight and administration of the Department's asset portfolio to ensure long-term sustainability, compliance, and effective utilization of housing resources.

Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three percent in exchange for five hours per month of the Personal Leave.
