Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Brenham, TX

Duration: 6 Months

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week

• 8-hour shifts

• Required to work 3 weekends per month

Available Shifts:

• Evening Shift: 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM (3 openings)

• Night Shift: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM (3 openings)

Each shift includes one 30-minute meal break.

Job Summary

The Client is seeking LVNs/LPNs for a 6-month contract assignment. We are looking for dependable, adaptable nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. Nurses must be comfortable floating between various units across the campus based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Float to different units throughout the facility as needed.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with facility protocols.

• Deliver compassionate care while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered LVN/LPN license.

• Ability to commit to a 6-month assignment.

• Willingness to work 40 hours per week and 3 weekends per month.

• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Ability to quickly learn new workflows and float between units.
