Location: Hemet, CA and surrounding communities (community-based travel required within approximately a 45-mile service area)

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Job Coaches to provide individualized employment support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Job Coaches work directly with participants in community employment settings, providing hands-on training, coaching, and support that promotes successful long-term employment.

This position is primarily community-based and requires travel throughout Riverside County and surrounding communities.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one job coaching at participant worksites.

Assist participants in learning job duties and workplace expectations.

Develop strategies that promote independence while reducing support over time.

Teach workplace communication, professionalism, and appropriate social skills.

Monitor participant progress and provide encouragement and constructive feedback.

Communicate professionally with employers, families, case managers, and service coordinators.

Maintain accurate, timely service notes and required documentation.

Assist participants with problem-solving and workplace challenges.

Support participants with transportation training when appropriate.

Maintain participant confidentiality and comply with all agency policies and applicable regulations.

Attend staff meetings and required trainings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Education, Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related field is preferred.

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently in community settings.

Basic computer and documentation skills.

Reliable transportation for community travel.

Requirements

Valid California Driver's License.

Reliable personal vehicle.

Current automobile insurance and vehicle registration.

Ability to successfully pass required background screening.

Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Ability to obtain required employment-related certifications as assigned by the agency.
