Job Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications.
Monitor application health, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure SLA adherence.
Analyze and resolve application, database, and infrastructure-related issues.
Work on Java-based applications for debugging and root cause analysis.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and issue resolution.
Perform deployment and support activities on OpenShift platforms.
Monitor and manage batch jobs using AutoSys.
Support cloud-based applications and services hosted on AWS/Azure/GCP.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues.
Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Leverage AI-based tools and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
Participate in on-call support and shift rotations as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in Application/Production Support.
Strong knowledge of Java debugging and troubleshooting.
Good hands-on experience with SQL and database concepts.
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
Knowledge of OpenShift container platform and deployments.
Exposure to Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with AutoSys job scheduling and monitoring.
Understanding of AI tools, automation, and operational support processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
ITIL process knowledge.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Kibana.
Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python).
Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
