Construction Site Supervisor

JCB Construction Canada Inc. is a prominent general building contractor and construction management firm operating primarily in Eastern Canada.

A Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for managing daily activities on a construction site and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans.

Typical job duties:

Supervise construction workers and subcontractors.

Plan and schedule daily site activities.

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Monitor work quality and progress.

Coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment.

Keep daily site reports and project records.

Communicate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.

Resolve on-site issues and ensure deadlines are met.

Typical requirements:

3-5+ years of construction experience (more for senior roles).

Leadership and communication skills.

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.

First Aid and health & safety certifications are often preferred.
