Analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician.
Has a full knowledge of the equipment utilized for diagnostic Ultrasound as well as software and computer systems used to maintain patient information and diagnostic images (PACS).\n \n \n \n \n \n REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program required.
Associate's degree preferred.
Current overview and knowledge of operations within a hospital or outpatient Ultrasound Department.
Solid foundation of knowledge regarding all diagnostic medical ultrasound systems and exams.
