Looking for a stable welding career with opportunities to grow? Join our fabrication team serving the fire sprinkler industry. We're seeking a dependable GMAW (MIG) Pipe Welder to weld carbon steel outlets onto steel pipe using both automated equipment and manual welding techniques in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMResponsibilities
Weld carbon steel outlets onto steel pipe.
Operate automated and semi-automated welding equipment.
Perform manual GMAW (MIG) welding and weld repairs.
Inspect weld quality, alignment, and dimensions.
Read production paperwork and work instructions.
Use tape measures and basic measuring tools.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 1 year of MIG (GMAW) welding experience.
Minimum 1 year of machine operation experience.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to safety and quality.
Preferred:
Carbon steel pipe welding experience.
Pipe fabrication or fire sprinkler industry experience.
Ability to identify weld defects and perform repairs.Welding Test
Candidates must complete a hands-on weld test during the interview:
Weld 1" outlets onto 2" steel pipe using GMAW.
Welds will be evaluated by visual inspection.
Candidates must bring their own welding helmet.
Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
