Entry Level Machine Operator

Job Description

The Greer Group has a great temp-to-hire Machine/Press operator opportunity for motivated individuals looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing! We're seeking dependable, detail-oriented candidates to join a growing production team. No manufacturing experience is required—we'll train the right individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Schedule

12-hour shifts:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Every other weekend off, giving you more time to spend with family and friends!

What You'll Do

Inspect plastic parts to ensure they meet quality standards from presses during production

Package finished products according to work instructions

Operate and monitor production equipment

Perform trimming, assembly, and other secondary operations

Record production and scrap information

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Work as part of a team to meet production goals

Qualifications

No previous manufacturing experience required—paid training provided!

Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

Ability to stand for the duration of your shift

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Basic math and measurement skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to identify product defects and color variations

Willingness to work overtime as needed
