Location: Manitowoc, WI
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

KI is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-driven CNC Machining Operator to join our Fabrication team. In this role, you will operate advanced CNC and fabrication equipment, ensure product quality through precision inspection, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that drive efficiency and innovation.
What You'll Do
Machine Setup and Operation: Configure CNC machines, primarily mills, for specific production tasks, ensuring proper tool installation and calibration
Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines safely and efficiently
Quality Control: Follow first piece inspection guidelines using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure they meet specifications per the blue print.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct inspections to keep machines in optimal working condition
Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe work environment
Collaboration: Work with other team members to meet production schedules and department goals.
What You Bring
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding CNC programming, and operating precision machinery
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain tight tolerance and ensure high-quality output
Problem-Solving: Competence in troubleshooting machine issues and adjusting settings for material variations
Physical Requirements: Ability to handle materials safely, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a factory environment
Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in CNC operations are highly valued
