Activity Assistant

Job Summary:

Join our Life Enrichment team at North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc, WI, as an Activity Assistant. As a valued team member, you will assist the Enrichment Director in planning and executing various activities and events for our residents. This Part-time position schedule Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts.

Essential Functions:

Assist the resident activity director as needed

Utilize the environment to provide comfort and stimulation to the resident population

Foster a sense of community within the center environment

Lead and participate in individual and group activities

Utilize various models to achieve individualized programming, such as pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc.

Assist with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties

Participate in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms

Maintain records of activities and attendance

Store activity equipment and supplies and clean the area after the activity

Provide or arrange for comfort/support to residents and families when needed

Perform other tasks as assigned
