Operations Unit Head - Water Supply and Wastewater Plant (CBCI)
Responsible for the overall management of water and/or used water treatment facilities, lift or pump/booster stations and network systems through planning and implementation of standard operational activities and tasks aligned with its operational philosophy to ensure efficient and reliable operations and compliance to regulatory and environmental standards.
Job Description
Compliance to Regulatory and Environmental Standards: Implemented Compliance Management, Approved and implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Process and Operations database monitoring system, Strong relationship management with regulators and stakeholders, Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation
Implements compliance and improvement plans and programs on water and/or used water treatment facilities, lift/pump/booster stations and network systems
Ensures data integrity on a plant level
Develops localized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Facilitates regulatory sampling and analysis activities on a plant level
Processes the raw data generated from onsite and laboratory analyses to derive treatment process parameters such as residual chlorine turbidity, pH, DO, SV30, F/M ratio and MCRT
Facilitates necessary trouble shooting of process upsets
Submits and consolidates validated operational data of water and/or used water operations
Complies with all internal and external regulatory requirements
Acts as the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) of used water facility
Efficient Facility Operations: Operational Efficiency Program, Annual OPEX budget, Operational efficiency evaluation report, Database Management System, Accomplished Vendor Evaluation Form
Formulates and implements innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency
Prepares, analyzes and proposes annual budget plans for water and/or used water facilities, lift/pumps/booster stations and network systems
Implements budget plans for water and/or used water facilities
Analyzes data from operational efficiency performance to make significant improvements
Evaluates vendor management performance and provides overall recommendations and improvements
Operations Reliability and Facility Uptime: Accomplished Maintenance programs, Approved Reliability Projects, Validated Asset Condition Rating (ACR), Implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Validated Equipment List and Availability
Implements maintenance programs for water and/or used water facilities, lift/pumps/booster stations and network systems
Develops and presents reliability project proposals water and/or used water systems
Assess and validates asset condition ratings for facility assets
Develops localized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incidents
Validates equipment availability to ensure facility reliability
Analyzes data from facility and network reliability performance to make significant improvements
Health and Safety: Zero loss time incident
Complies with the health and safety procedures and practices to achieve zero work related accidents and improve the Company's health and safety image and performance

Bachelors Degree in Environmental & Sanitary Engineering or Related Courses
