Maintenance Superintendent – 2nd Shift

Location: Denison, Iowa

Salary: $100K – 130K plus bonus

Role Overview:

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Superintendent to lead the 2nd shift team towards surpassing daily objectives.

Responsibilities:

Enhance operational efficiency by monitoring and taking corrective measures on yields, efficiencies, and profits.

Coordinate staff and maintenance schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resources.

Implement safety and ergonomic programs to ensure a hazard-free workplace with a focus on employee wellbeing.

Maintain high sanitation and quality standards in compliance with industry regulations through regular meetings.

Train teams on company policies and procedures for continuous improvement in performance and efficiency.

Provide strong leadership on the production floor to motivate teams towards operational goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination required.

Prior lead experience or project management essential.

Must have food manufacturing background, with a preference for kill/harvest floor exposure.

Familiarity with PLC's and Ammonia Refrigeration systems.

Proficient in various computer applications including SAP and Microsoft Office.

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Expertise in Manufacturing: Have a solid grasp of production processes.

Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations.

Bilingual skills are advantageous.
