Fence Crew

Job Description

$18 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities:

Verify the truck has all the necessary fencing materials and equipment for the work day, and it’s secured

Keep the worksite free of debris upon completion

Establish and attach fence posts, lines and rails

Prepare the area for new fences using hand and power tools

Install wood, picket, vinyl, chain link, and electric fences

Build wood, metal, and custom fences

Set posts, pour concrete, and install fence materials

Load and unload tools and materials

Operate hand tools and power tools safely

Assist with layout, measuring, and site preparation

Maintain clean and organized job sites

Work efficiently with crew members and crew leaders

Follow safety procedures and company standards

Represent Sawtooth Wood Products professionally on job sites

Qualifications:

Must have valid driver’s license

A high school diploma or GED is preferred

Physically fit and good hand dexterity required

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer satisfaction skills

1-year experience in construction, carpentry, or fencing is required

Construction or outdoor labor experience preferred

Fence installation experience is a plus but not required

Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred

Strong work ethic and ability to work physically throughout the day

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Ability to follow directions and learn quickly
