Description
As a Contracts Lead at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting Honeywell Aerospace’s Integrated Supply Chain by drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating complex supplier agreements and terms and conditions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including sourcing, legal, and finance teams, to ensure the successful execution of contracts and compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in contract negotiation and risk assessment will be instrumental in driving successful business outcomes and mitigating legal and commercial risks.
You will report directly to our Senior Contracts Manager and work from our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location on a hybrid work schedule.
The Contracts Lead will have a significant impact on Honeywell Aerospace's contracts function and overall business operations. Your ability to assess risk, negotiate effectively, and provide strategic contract guidance will help ensure compliance, reduce commercial and legal exposure, and support the company’s operational and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, interpret, and negotiate complex supplier agreements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and advise Sourcing & Procurement
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, legal and commercial risks
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers
Support/manage the resolution of contract-related issues, claims and disputes
Maintain accurate and complete contract records and documentation
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
6+ years of experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts
Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
