Associate, Americas Asset Management (0081-0003)

Will be responsible for working in close collaboration with organization's investment teams and operating partners in connection with internal Dedicated Asset Teams (DATs) in order to engage portfolio company's board and senior management to drive performance, value creation, growth and transformation. Support DAT team with overseeing company's operating assets, including due diligence, acquisition, execution, follow-on bolt-on acquisitions and refinancing, and divestments using infrastructure asset management experience and experience with valuation modelling tools and techniques. Carry out asset-specific and portfolio-wide analyses, taking a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to identify and explain value-add initiatives across the portfolio and support the DAT and portfolio company management in the implementation of these initiatives. Assist in the preparation of meetings with internal management, portfolio company management teams, service providers, clients, and other key stakeholders. Challenge the cost and revenue assumptions and asset plans put forward by portfolio company management teams by independently running scenario analysis and monitoring delivery by utilizing strong foundation in financial principles. Ensure good governance and risk management, and that all statutory, contractual, and corporate regulations and corporate policies are properly complied with by the management teams running the day-to-day operations of the asset. Assist DAT team on specific asset management tasks and engagements regarding any assets which have operational, performance or relationship issues. Assist in the preparation of internal approvals and the delivery of new portfolio initiatives and potential strategic developments.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Financial Engineering and three (3) years of experience in job offered or three (3) years of infrastructure and/or financial assets experience in global financial industry

Some domestic/international travel is required.
