Location: Culver City, CA Duration: Fulltime

Job Description: Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Should have worked on DevOps

• Should have good experience working with GitHub

• Should have good experience with configuring and usage of Jenkins, SonarQube, AWS Code Build, AWS Code Deploy

• Should have good understanding of test automation for Unit Tests, Functional Tests and Integration Tests

• Should have working experience on end-to-end development cycle

• Should have hands on programming experience using one of the programming languages like Java, Python, Java Script and Type Script

• Should have good understanding of Architecture and Design patterns

• Good to have working experience with web frameworks like Django or Spring Boot

• Should be good at Shell Scripting

• Should have worked on AWS at least for 5 years and hands on experience on Terraform

• Should have worked on Docker and Kubernetes

Functional Skills: Requirement Gathering, Roadmap Planning, Change Management, Risk Planning and Mitigation, Communication Skills, Backlog Grooming, Agile Methodology, Sprint Planning

Roles & Responsibilities

• Be a “developer’s developer” with a strong understanding of software engineering principles, able to collaborate effectively with development teams and provide guidance on best practices, tooling, and workflows.

• Work with application teams and suggest appropriate path for onboarding teams on CI/CD pipeline

• Implement DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies for build and deployment strategies

• Write Terraform templates for AWS infrastructure as code for non-production and production environments

• Build and deploy Docker containers to transition applications to microservices architectures

• Maintain source code repositories in GitHub, including branching, tagging, and merging processes

• Manage builds and update Ant/Maven build scripts for Java-based applications

• Support migration of applications from on-premises datacenters to AWS Cloud

• Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines and integrate tools like SonarQube, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and Nexus for CI/CD

• Develop automation scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Shell scripting

• Apply architecture and design patterns in solution development

• Participate in requirement gathering, roadmap planning, change management, risk planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile practices

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
