Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotational Pumping)

Plant Engtech Private Limited. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotational Pumping) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the design, analysis, and development of pumping systems, along with hands-on experience in engineering calculations, standards compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop rotational pumping equipment such as centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, etc.) as per project and Client requirements.

• Prepare detailed engineering documentation including GA drawings, (General Arrangements) assembly drawings, and BOM & Perform hydraulic, mechanical, and thermal calculations for pump sizing and performance analysis

• Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (API, ISO, ANSI, ASME, etc.)

• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams for design feasibility

• Review technical specifications, datasheets, and customer inquiries & Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of pumps

• Participate in design reviews, cost optimization, continuous improvement activities.

• Provide technical support during commissioning and resolving field issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (B.E / B. Tech – Mechanical)

• Strong knowledge of pump design, engineering calculations, and industry standards

• Proficiency in engineering design tools and drafting software is preferred

Experience

• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in designing and engineering pumping systems
