Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Beacon is looking to add a Receptionist to our team. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff while helping support daily administrative operations. Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors and ensure proper sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed

Monitor facility entrances and follow building security procedures to support resident safety

Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate departments, staff, or resident rooms

Perform administrative support tasks including typing, copying, filing, and mail distribution

Maintain copier and office supply areas and distribute incoming faxes

Sort and distribute resident and facility mail

Maintain resident directories and mailing information

Prepare door tags, reports, and other clerical documents as requested

Assist with resident transportation and help residents enter or exit the facility when needed

Use the facility intercom system for announcements and staff paging

Attend required trainings and comply with facility policies and procedures

Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 6 months of administrative or customer service experience required

Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach
