We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the role of Paint Sprayer- All Shifts Available. This position is based in Mifflintown, PA and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork.

The Paint Sprayer I is responsible for the application of solvent-based paints, stains and other coating materials on wood components. The Paint Sprayer is also responsible for color match verification and quality assurance of parts finished.

Responsibilities

Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.

Must be able to measure out and catalyze material as needed

Must ensure the quality application of coatings to ensure compliance with set quality standards

Must be proficient in Paint and Topcoat

Must keep supervisor and/or manager informed of the quality of parts received from other departments

Must be able to maintain a spray application of 3.5-4.0 wet mils on all parts on a consistent basis

Must have the ability to produce and ensure a quality finish from start to finish

Must have good "color eye"

Ability to adjust spraying equipment to insure proper application of coating materials

Must be able to read and understand instructions and documents in English

Possess the ability to learn all species of wood used for production and finish colors by sight

Learn and maintain knowledge of the Essential Cabinetry Group Hazardous Communication Program

Learn and maintain knowledge of basic hazardous waste generator responsibilities

Accurately label containers for paints, stains, cleaning solvents and hazardous waste

Properly dispose of used finishing products in the designated hazardous waste accumulation points

Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and local laws

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent required with 2-4 years’ experience in related field.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to understand work instructions and directions in English.

Good analytical skills.
