Construction Project Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Superintendent (On-Site) to join our team for a 5-6 month assignment. This project is located in Atlanta, GA. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Note: This is a temporary position (approx. 5-6 months) with the potential for additional assignments after project completion.

Compensation includes base hourly pay plus daily per diem; housing, car and cell phone allowance. Anticipated schedule is 6 days per week, approximately 10 - 12 hours per day.

Selected candidate will be on site beginning in September until project completion (most likely Jan/Feb 2027).

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of structural steel construction project from planning to implementation

Allocate resources for assigned project

Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors

Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients

Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction management of structural steel projects

Familiarity with construction management software

Ability to read/interpret structural steel & steel erection blueprints

Strong leadership qualities

Strong negotiation skills

Deadline and detail-oriented
