About the Role:

Minted is looking to hire a seasonal Desktop Support Engineer to support our high volume season. This is a full-time temporary position until the end of the year.

As the Desktop Support Engineer, you will serve as support expert for Design and Customer Service departments, working toward our goal of providing a world-class customer experience. You will help customers triage and troubleshoot technical problems, and serve as the key conduit of information to the IT team to fix and resolve issues. As the Desktop Support Engineer, you will update the IT team with a prioritized list of customer issues.

As the Desktop Support Engineer, you will:

Serve as support expert for Design and Customer Service departments, updating colleagues on technical issues, diagnosing, and resolving issues

Collect, analyze, and report on customer issues and feedback

Desk setups and basic network troubleshooting

Experience and Skills:

1-2 years of Level 1 Technical Support experience required - we are an 80% PC and 20% Mac environment

Strong knowledge of web concepts (i.e. How to clear cache, inspect element, find issues in console, change browser settings, etc.) with all browsers

Knowledge of various operating systems including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome; Windows and Macintosh

Process-oriented and experience using a ticketing system, Zendesk a plus

Experience with Google Suite and Active Directory administration

Strong people skills and a knack for problem-solving

Passion for delivering an excellent consumer experience

Attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic knowledge of how an eCommerce business works and operates

Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
