We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our environmental services team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents.

Position Overview:

As a Housekeeper at Forest Glen, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility. Your attention to detail and pride in your work will directly contribute to the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and nursing stations

Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure proper sanitation

Handle laundry duties, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens

Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment

Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department

Ensure infection control procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred (especially in a healthcare setting)

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety practices

Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision

Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and coworkers

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
