Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a vital role within a large maintenance team, specializing in routine preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment installation, and process improvement projects. This position requires hands-on expertise with standard hand and power tools, computerized maintenance management systems, diagnostic software, and specialized machinery controls, ensuring equipment uptime and operational safety without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment repair and parts replacement to maintain machinery functionality

Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues using diagnostic software and tools

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations during all maintenance activities

Operate and maintain tools and specialized machinery controls effectively

Install new equipment and upgrades according to specifications

Inspect and calibrate machines to meet operational standards

Maintain accurate maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial maintenance

Must be able to work nights.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical diploma in industrial maintenance or related field

Knowledge of mechanical repair, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Experience with preventive maintenance and blueprint reading

Strong problem-solving skills and safety procedure adherence
