Manufacturing Production Operator

PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR

The operator position is assigned to a designated line and position in the production area to provide, maintain, and oversee the necessary controls, tasks, and operation of the line for processing quality material and products.

Primary Job Functions

Ensure the line is set up to the proper operating instructions

Maintain line processes to ensure only quality products are being produced

Ensure all material and products processed in the production area of assigned line conform to internal product specifications

Perform continuous visual inspection of product to determine quality and process adherence

Perform mechanical inspection of product and process machines

Perform physical inspection of product and raw material to test or measure for quality characteristics

Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area and support area

Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs and to lift 20+ lbs overhead

Ability to read, write, and communicate English

Ability to work in hot or cold environment

Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and balance

Ability to effectively use simple hand and power tools

Schedule: 8a-8p or 8p-8a, 12-hour Continental Shifts (2-2-3)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
