Software Engineer
Location - San Francisco, CA (Onsite – 5 Days per Week) - (New York City Considered)
Compensation - $150,000 – $220,000 Base + Competitive Equity

As a Software Engineer, you'll build AI-powered product experiences across backend services, frontend applications, cloud infrastructure, and autonomous agent workflows while collaborating closely with founders, customers, and engineering leadership to shape the future of insurance automation.

What You'll Do
Build full-stack product features across frontend applications, backend services, and cloud infrastructure
Develop autonomous AI agents that automate insurance workflows end-to-end
Design and implement customer-facing product experiences using React, TypeScript, and Go
Build scalable backend services supporting AI-powered workflow automation
Develop AI-native product features leveraging LLMs, APIs, and modern AI tooling
Collaborate directly with enterprise customers to understand business workflows and deliver impactful product solutions
Partner closely with Product, Go-to-Market, and Engineering teams to prioritize roadmap initiatives
Build platform infrastructure supporting asynchronous processing, observability, and compute scalability
Leverage AI-powered engineering workflows using modern developer tools and AI assistants
Design scalable APIs supporting enterprise workflow automation
Contribute across backend, frontend, infrastructure, AI systems, and platform engineering as a true full-stack engineer
Own product initiatives from concept through production deployment
Ideal Candidate Background
Experience Requirements
3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
Experience building and shipping production customer-facing software
Experience working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure systems
Experience working at high-growth startups, AI companies, B2B SaaS companies, or FinTech startups
Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end engineering projects
Experience solving complex technical problems with minimal guidance
Strong evidence of career growth, technical excellence, or exceptional achievements
Startup experience strongly preferred
Technical Requirements
Strong React, TypeScript, and/or Go engineering skills
Experience building production full-stack applications
Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating LLM workflows
Strong backend API development and distributed systems fundamentals
Experience building scalable platform infrastructure
Experience with asynchronous processing, observability, compute infrastructure, or performance optimization
Strong debugging, testing, and software engineering fundamentals
Experience building customer-facing SaaS products
Strong product engineering mindset with full-stack versatility
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and AI workflows
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field required
Degree from a Top-20 Computer Science program strongly preferred
