Are you an experienced Chef De Partie looking to take the next step in a busy, well-established kitchen? Join The River Hotel in the beautiful town of Margaret River, WA 6285. You will work closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality food and maintain strong standards across preparation, service, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with venue standards

• Manage and maintain your allocated section during preparation and service

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations

• Assist with menu preparation, specials, and food presentation

• Supervise and support junior cooks and kitchen staff where required

• Maintain consistency, portion control, and quality across all dishes

• Ensure proper stock rotation, storage, and waste minimisation

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area

• Follow all food safety, workplace health, and hygiene standards

• Take a hands-on role during busy service periods and contribute to a strong team environment

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 1 years of full-time or part-time equivalent experience as a Chef De Partie, or strong Demi Chef ready to step up

• A relevant and acceptable trade qualification or apprenticeship or at least 2 years of experience in lieu

• Strong cooking skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy service environment

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Reliable, professional, and committed to consistent standards

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work as part of a team
