Our Nurse Practitioners have ready access and ability to precept cases with our Physicians in a supportive environment.
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:Provide and coordinate health care services to patients and their familiesPromote maintenance of health, prevention of illness and stabilityProvide care during acute and chronic phases of illnessGuide and counsel individuals and familiesReferral patients to other health care providers as appropriateRecord and update patient EMR in accordance with HIPAA and practice standards and procedures Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:Current, certified NYS Nurse Practitioner license Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a family practice or Urgent Care setting is desired (not required)Previous experience working with Medent (EMR) is a plus Excellent working knowledge of chronic disease states and possess critical thinking skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills PIb3f3d78f236d-
