The Role & Landscape: You will take ownership of maintaining and optimizing a critical IBM CICS environment on z/OS mainframes. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where your expertise will directly ensure the high availability and smooth functioning of core transactional systems.

- System Administration: Install, upgrade, and maintain CICS TS regions and related mainframe components.

- Configuration & Tuning: Expertly configure CICS system tables (SIT, PPT, FCT, RDO, PCT, DCT, TST) and manage CICSPlex (CMAS, WUIS, MAS definitions).

- Performance Monitoring: Analyze deep CICS metrics using SMF, RMF, and CMF to monitor region health and tune transaction performance.

- Troubleshooting: Act as the ultimate escalation point for diagnosing abends and resolving critical system outages.

- Security & Integration: Configure RACF/ACF2/Top Secret permissions and support complex integrations across MQ, DB2, IMS, and modern Web Services.

What We Are Looking For:

- Extensive, hands-on experience working as a Systems Programmer or Administrator focused on IBM CICS TS on z/OS.

- Deep technical fluency in core mainframe technologies: JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and SMP/E.

- Proven expertise in managing and configuring CICSPlex SM.

- Solid familiarity with integrating CICS with MQ, DB2, and IMS.

- Proficiency with industry-standard monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, or RMF.

- A process-driven mindset with strong experience in enterprise documentation and change management protocols.
