This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the organisation at the highest level. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President, Strategy serves as a trusted advisor, strategic architect, and enterprise execution leader, translating vision into action and ensuring the company's most critical priorities are delivered.

The successful candidate will drive enterprise strategy, lead strategic growth initiatives including M&A, and establish the operating discipline that enables the executive team to execute with clarity, speed, and accountability.

This role is ideal for a leader who combines strategic thinking with a relentless focus on results and thrives in complex, fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Strategy & Prioritization

Lead development and evolution of enterprise strategy, in partnership with the CEO and executive team

Translate long-term strategic priorities into actionable annual and quarterly plans

Facilitate strategic planning processes, including executive offsites and multi-year roadmap development

Drive clarity on “where to play” and “how to win,” ensuring alignment across functions

M&A Strategy

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize M&A opportunities aligned to the company's strategic growth priorities

Develop and maintain a robust acquisition and partnership pipeline

Lead end-to-end M&A execution, including valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and closing

Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes

Operating Cadence & Execution Discipline

Establish and run the executive operating rhythm (e.g., OKRs, business reviews, strategic checkpoints)

Ensure alignment of priorities across the executive team and track progress against commitments

Drive accountability for results, surfacing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early

Facilitate decision-making, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through

Cross Functional Execution

Lead or coordinate high-priority, cross-functional initiatives critical to business performance

Partner with functional leaders to remove barriers and accelerate execution

Monitor progress on key strategic initiatives and course correct as needed

Support enterprise transformation efforts, ensuring momentum and delivery

CEO Leverage & Executive Team Effectiveness

Serve as a trusted advisor and day-to-day thought partner to the CEO

Shape CEO agenda, priorities, and key decision forums

Prepare the CEO for critical internal and external engagements

Act as a sounding board on strategic trade-offs and organizational priorities

YOU MUST HAVE:

15+ years of experience spanning corporate strategy or operations

Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels

Experience working closely with executive teams and senior leadership

Strong track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and organizational alignment

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build trust at all levels
