Software Engineer, Product & Growth

Location - San Francisco, CA (Onsite – 4 Days per Week)

Compensation - $160,000 – $280,000 Base + 0.1%–0.5% Equity

Visa - Visa Sponsorship Available on a Case-by-Case Basis

The engineering team owns products end-to-end, shipping quickly while continuously iterating based on customer feedback.

As a Product & Growth Engineer, you'll own features across the entire product stack—from backend systems and frontend experiences to AI agent capabilities and integrations—while helping shape both product direction and user growth.

What You'll Do

Build product features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and AI agent systems

Design and develop new capabilities for AI agents and workflow automation

Build integrations with Slack, email, calendar providers, and external platforms

Prototype new product ideas rapidly and iterate based on customer feedback

Collaborate closely with design, product, and GTM teams to identify customer pain points

Design reliable backend services and APIs powering production AI workflows

Build scalable systems supporting AI-powered productivity experiences

Improve user onboarding, engagement, and product adoption

Work directly with users to understand workflows and identify product opportunities

Balance rapid experimentation with production-quality engineering

Help shape long-term product architecture and engineering best practices

Contribute across the full technology stack whenever needed

Ideal Candidate Background

Experience Requirements

2+ years of experience building and shipping production software

Experience working at a high-growth startup or well-regarded technology company

Experience building customer-facing product features

Experience shipping products that incorporate LLMs or AI functionality

Experience owning projects from concept through production deployment

Experience working closely with product and design teams

Experience building production software used by real customers

Demonstrated product ownership and execution

Startup experience strongly preferred

Technical Requirements

Strong backend engineering fundamentals

Experience designing scalable production systems

Comfortable working full stack when needed

Experience with AI/LLM-powered applications

Experience integrating external APIs and third-party services

Strong understanding of product architecture

Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, or similar modern frameworks preferred

Experience working with PostgreSQL or relational databases

Experience building agentic workflows or human-in-the-loop systems preferred

Experience working with graph data, contact graphs, or social network models preferred

Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred

Strong academic background from a top engineering program preferred
