Job Title: Framer

Wage Offered: $38.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time & permanent

Experience Required: 12 months of relevant work experience

Minimum Education: Secondary School

Work Location: Various client sites

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and understand blueprints, drawings and sketches;

- Determine work specifications and calculate required materials;

- Prepare measured layouts which confirms with building code requirements;

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wooden materials, lightweight steel, and other framing material;

- Work with structural skeleton erection, building foundations, installation of floor; beams, erection of walls, placing studs, and roofing work;

- Install doors, stairs, moulding and other hardware, as required by contract;

- Work at various residential renovation and repair contract sites;

- Supervise helper labourers at work sites;

- Any other relevant tasks and duties requested by the manager/ management.
