HR
We are are seeking an experienced and driven HR Officer on behalf of a dynamic organisation operating within a fast-paced contact centre environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with strong experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and employee engagement.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12).
Relevant Human Resources Degree or Diploma.
Minimum 1 year experience as an HR Officer or HR Generalist (internship experience will not be considered).
Proven experience managing end-to-end bulk recruitment in a high-volume environment.
Strong Employee Relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, and performance management processes.
Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation, including the BCEA, LRA, and EEA.
Minimum 1 year experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience within a call centre or contact centre environment will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding
Manage the full recruitment process from advertising and screening through to appointment and onboarding.
Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and complete pre-employment checks.
Draft and maintain job descriptions and recruitment advertisements.
Coordinate onboarding documentation and employee records.
Manage learnerships, internships, and youth development programmes.
Employee Relations
Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management.
Coordinate disciplinary hearings, grievances, incapacity processes, and poor performance management.
Conduct exit interviews and provide trend analysis and recommendations.
Performance Management
Manage probation reviews and support performance management initiatives.
Ensure fair and consistent application of performance improvement processes.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
Manage HR queries professionally and within required service levels.
Prepare and maintain HR reports and workforce statistics.
Employee Engagement & Wellness
Support employee wellness and engagement initiatives.
Drive activities that promote a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
Reporting & Business Support
Compile and analyse HR reports and metrics.
Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and organisational development initiatives.
Partner with management to drive people-related business objectives.
