This position will be based in western IL, near Keokuk IA; relocation is offered.

Develops and implements software and control system applications for test equipment by performing the following duties.

Position Responsibilities:

•Develops and designs software/hardware for testing applications for design verification and 100% functional evaluation of electronic products.

•Streamlines tests to maximize throughput while maintaining quality of test.

•Interprets customer test specs to minimize over-testing and maximize test coverage.

•Interfaces with customers answering complex test questions on test software for electronic products.

•Works with automotive customers, design engineers, and regulatory requirements to diagnose performance and failure mode problems.

•Develops standards and procedures for software development applications.

•Works with technicians on improving existing processes.

•Works with customers on resolving product test issues.

•Works with test laboratory and manufacturing department on resolving test issues.

•Assists in quoting process.

•Develop solutions for complete machine automation.

•Develop solutions for vision inspection including barcode processing.

•Trains team members and operators on the use of programmed automation and vision systems.

•Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in electrical, engineering, or computer science; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in electrical, engineering, or computer science.

•Should be fluent in LabVIEW.

•Should be able to program PLCs.

•Must be computer proficient in all MS Office programs.

•Should have basic Database knowledge.

•NI LabVIEW certification preferred: Associate Developer, Developer, Architect
