To support the Plant Manager and collaborate with all departments in overall plant operations, ensuring the achievement of plant-wide QCDS targets, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and driving customer satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities
Act as the plant representative on behalf of the Plant Manager and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Participate in planning and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans
Oversee and manage plant-wide operations to achieve targets in manufacturing, logistics, quality, and safety
Develop operational goals and action plans aligned with each department’s strategy
Monitor KPI performance, identify improvement opportunities in QCDS, and drive improvement initiatives
Plan and implement appropriate workforce allocation and recruitment based on cost efficiency
Manage talent development and performance using HR tools such as PMP
Create a work environment that improves employee engagement and retention
Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, relevant regulations, and internal standards
Promote occupational health and safety activities to achieve zero incidents
Ensure compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, and customer-specific requirements
Support product change management and new product introduction
Lead TPM activities and spare parts management
Support new product launches and mass production transition, including approval processes
Promote QCDS improvements using structured methodologies
Strengthen shop floor management and operational efficiency through DX, automation, AI, and visual management tools
Participate in and drive corrective actions for findings identified in audits
Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Handle other special assignments as required
■Required Qualifications
Equivalent to a high school diploma in electrical, mechanical, or related fields
Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry
Experience in team management including coaching and mentoring
Knowledge of HR management tools such as PMP and IDP
Knowledge of talent management, motivation enhancement, and conflict management
Knowledge of production planning methodologies
Practical experience and knowledge in productivity improvement (e.g., TPM, 6S, A3 thinking, PDCA cycle, problem-solving methods, Toyota Production System)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Business-level proficiency in Japanese
■Preffered Qualifications
Overseas assignment or international project experience
Experience in project management
Knowledge and experience with systems such as statistical analysis software, PLM, ERP, and MRP
English communication skills
