Material Handler

Material HandlerThe Material Handler will maintain warehouse stock, fulfill customer orders, and organize and maintain existing inventory.Essential Job FunctionsReview raw material production schedules, pull material, and deliver to individual workstations.Verify incoming material quantity/quality requirements, put away, and complete ERP receipt transactions.Maintains and organizes raw material inventory.Perform inventory cycle countsCollaborate with inventory control to determine when product stock is needed.Pack products to ready them for shipments.Moves goods interdepartmentally utilizing hand trucks and other material handling equipment.Maintains and organizes finished product stock.Operate Forklift within the facility to transport product.Skills and AbilitiesSolid interpersonal skills.Time management/deadline-oriented.Works well under pressure.Ability to multi-task.Computer skills.Education and ExperienceExperience working with a MRP/ERP environment.Hands-on experience with picking, packing, and inventory control.Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.Forklift Certified a plus, will train if needed.Physical RequirementsMove/Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds.Standing up to 8+ hours per day.EEOC StatementMW Industries, Inc.
