Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Manager with a strong background in building products and project management workflows. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from order entry through production and delivery—ensuring all components are manufactured, documented, and delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand project scope, specifications, and system requirements

Lead coordination across drafting, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to align production with installation timelines

Create and manage order entries, ensuring accurate material quantities and specifications

Review and interpret shop drawings and submittals, providing feedback as needed

Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones from order entry through delivery

Maintain accurate documentation of communications, schedules, change orders, and deliverables within ERP and project management systems

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status and project updates

Support procurement with sourcing and scheduling of materials

Prepare job files, documentation, and closeout packages for delivery

Monitor project costs and material usage to ensure profitability and efficiency

Lead internal meetings and customer calls, providing updates and reports

Proactively identify and resolve production or delivery issues to minimize delays

Support customer-specific platforms, workflows, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred

PMP certification required

2–7 years of experience working with customers within a general or specialty contractor environment

Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills

Demonstrated leadership experience with successful project delivery

Technical Skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (architectural, structural, and specifications)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)

Experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred

Additional Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 30%

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

High energy, self-motivation, and sound decision-making abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs, frequently lift up to 10 lbs, and perform light physical activity as needed
