A highly regarded East Bay General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to estimate and manage commercial tenant-improvement projects from preconstruction through completion.

There is a very attractive profit sharing program being offered.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates, budgets, proposals, and scopes

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids

Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities

Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout

Coordinate schedules, subcontractors and field teams

Maintain strong client relationships

Ensure projects meet quality, schedule and profitability goals

Qualifications

7+ years of construction estimating or project-management experience

Commercial tenant-improvement experience

Strong knowledge of construction plans, costs, and methods

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Proficiency with construction estimating and project-management software

Bay Area subcontractor and vendor relationships are a plus
