Our client is an organization in the Dakota County area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, analytical, and who has excellent communication skills. The salary for this job is $125K - $200K.

The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and lead accounting, payroll, HR, contract administration, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.

Assist with annual budgeting, business planning, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, variance analysis, and auditor preparation.

Oversee project financial performance by monitoring estimates, budgets, work-in-progress schedules, and profitability.

Direct billing, revenue recognition, collections, and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely cash receipts.

Coordinate corporate compliance requirements, including sales tax filings, insurance administration, audits, and government reporting.

Develop and improve financial and operational processes while partnering with management to support organizational goals and informed decision-making.

The Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or an equivalent level of knowledge in a related field.

5+ years of experience with accounting, payroll work, and managing staff.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a business environment.
